A screenshot as art, the art of being mauled, the most casual raid you’ll ever see, and more.

    Welcome

That header… I know it’s slightly cheaty to to use a paint program, but I liked the effect it creates in lord_fairfax’s reddit post “Yo dog, I heard you like your house, so I put a picture of your house in your house so you can look at your house while you’re in your house”. The original screenshot is here.

There was no need for me to rewrite a headline so descriptive, so I just rolled with it.

Behind the Scenes with Brunt Force Trauma

I love Brunt Force Trauma’s work, even though I’m not sure they’ve ever released a video with a nice ending. Like, not even like a little bit nice. And yet they seem like such nice boys. How do I know? They’ve released a commentary video for one of last year’s epics, The Tale of the Tamer. It’s a real shame that the MST3K reference is only in the thumbnail…

This is just a sneak peek at content from their Patreon. BTW, since you guys are into puns, I think a playlist of these should be called ‘Full Meta Jacket’. You can use that for free.

    Survival of the Fittest

Coming soonish to a monitor near you will be the Rustralasia server’s Survival of the Fittest event. People will fight each other as a deflating bubble of radiation squeezes them all together. And it being on Rustralasia means Vertiigo will be commentating on the action. I wonder if he’ll be able to do it all in that sweary inner-monologue he’s known for?

Also, hey! It’s Brunt Force Trauma, again. They do get around.

    Vertiigo: Battle Royale

If you’re a regular follower of Vertiigo, you might know about his White Whale: Battle Royale. The game-mode where people are dropped on the outskirts of a map and are slowly forced together, fighting each other as they push towards the centre. Vert has battled his way through 29 of these, never once winning (I won on my second game, just FYI). Did he manage it this time? He certainly went in with the attitude that he would.

    What now?

    Xtab’s Skin Round-Up

You should all heed Xtab’s advice. He knows the craft of skin-making, and in the 1350 he looked at this week, he saw lots and lots of masks and breastplates. There was a lot of creativity in them, but also where you’re going to find the fiercest competition. Here’s his picks of the week.

Here’s the skins of his enemies his workshop skins.

    The Art of Being Mauled

Artists are often asked about where their inspiration comes from, and if you’re Bizzlesnaff you can point to the scars and blood, and perhaps bring up a video of a bear attack on Youtube. Anyway, here’s what he arted not long after an encounter with our special bears.

That is a grim, great painting.
